Our Learn-to-Row Program is designed for those who have never rowed. If you have previous rowing experience and are interested in joining Frisco Rowing, please refer to our Club Membership page.
Our Learn-to-Row program scheduled for June 2026 has been cancelled.
Those of you who live in Summit County you are well aware of the extreme lack of snowpack this season and its projected negative effect on the water level at the reservoir.
After discussions with Denver Water on the dire nature of the current and projected water levels on Lake DIllon, the Town of Frisco and the Frisco Marina have preemptively closed down all marina operations for the summer that pertain to boat launching and the use of slips, etc.
Our Club will not have use of our coaching/safety launch, nor the designated sculling dock where we launch our boats. These conditions make the administration of our training programs impossible.
Learn to row lessons typically begin in mid-June dependent on weather & water levels. Our next learn-to-row session is now scheduled for June 2027.
- Our Learn To Row Sessions consist of five mornings on the water from 6:30AM – 10:00AM as well as;
- A flip session held at the Breckenridge Rec Center pool.
2027 Learn-to-Row Dates will be announced in early 2027.
- All sessions are mandatory.
- If you are available for all of the scheduled dates and are interested in learning to row (and becoming a member of Frisco Rowing!) please email your information to: lessons@friscorowing.com
- At the conclusion of the Learn-to-Row series you will have the option of becoming a member.
- The cost for the 6 day session is $425. Upon joining, $150 will be credited to your membership fees.
- Membership costs are separate from the LTR series. Currently, the cost of a full membership is $350 ($200 after credit from LTR session.

- Snug-fitting dry wick shirts and tights.
- No loose clothing!
- No open pockets, zippered pockets are ok.
- No shoes in the boats, we wear socks only, slip on shoes are the best.
